What's this all about?
What do you do?
I get this question a lot - what exactly do you do? I can serve in any area you need a professional presence and can handle tasks and projects that vary in size or type. Check out my background and skills to see what I mean. Overall, my goal is to be your "right-hand" or "jack of all trades."
Why would I need your services?
For starters, you get the benefits of having a dedicated employee without having to give someone a desk or equipment, provide health insurance, or pay employer taxes. Maybe you need help, but you don’t need someone full-time. Maybe you need an assistant sporadically, so you don’t want to hire an employee only to have to worry about laying someone off. Maybe you need someone who can be available in a different time zone who can work outside your business hours. Or maybe you just aren't too into the online side of business, so you need someone who can fill in the gaps.
What do you charge?
That can vary. I generally charge by the hour, but some services are billed per project. I also offer discounts to non-profits. Click here for a free consultation and we'll talk.
Do you only work with businesses?
Nope - I work with anyone. Maybe you do need help with your business. Maybe you only need help with your personal life. Or maybe you need business help AND someone to help with your personal tasks. I can do it all.
When I hire you, is my data secure?
Absolutely. I take security seriously - all of my clients have access to my Security and Privacy policy, and I take extra steps to secure all my data - use of a VPN, encrypted files, the list goes on. I’m the only person who can access any of my equipment or files. And when it comes to confidentiality, well, I have a background working for a police department, a non-profit working with domestic violence and sexual assault victims, and a publicly traded company - I’m skilled at keeping my lips sealed.
How do you get paid?
I accept payments online, but can work with my clients if another form of payment is needed.
Is there anything you won’t do?
Like most people, I won’t work for someone doing something illegal. Also, if your needs include the use of explicit materials, I’m not the person for you.
Do I need to be tech-savvy to work with you?
Nope. In fact, you could benefit from my services more than most! I can handle your emails, take care of your online shopping, manage your online presence, help with your research, all kinds of things! I can communicate with my clients by phone or text, so you wouldn’t even have to be online if you didn’t want to be. I'm also able to meet with my local clients, if you prefer.
Anything else? Ask away!
